Anasazi Suite -- As a Vacation Getaway

Looking for a winter ski getaway or a summer mountain retreat?

The Anasazi Suite is just what you need and where you need it. Durango is the perfect 'Getaway Destination' any time of the year. Popular amongst sports enthusiasts from rock climbers to bikers to skiers, Durango is the 'Must Do' locale for every sport.

If you're more interested in a peaceful setting for a contemplative retreat in an uplifting, natural environment, then once again Durango/Hesperus is the 'Sweet Spot' of the entire Four (4) Corners vicinity. We are across the road from 'public lands', very close in proximity from the La Plata River and Mount Hesperus -- if hiking is your 'thing'.

Our Durango Anasazi Suite is available for long term or short term rental or just for a few days. If fully utilized, it could sleep up to 4 persons. The large Anasazi Suite is fully equipped with a queen size bed, a full size futon, a walk-in closet, stove (ambience above all else!) and its' own fully stocked private bathroom. So, there's no need to pack towels!

You have access to an additional common area which includes a couch/love seat for any entertaining you would like to host during your stay.

The Anasazi Suite is actually a spacious (approximately 800 square feet), very new and private 1 bedroom suite -- fully stocked with everything you would need for your complete stay. An extremely large Master Bedroom area is separate from the Full Kitchen and Living areas. Two large walk in closets, brand new cabinets and appliances including a 4 burner range, conventional oven, a microwave oven. The full size refrigerator will more than adequately meet your food storage needs. You even have a 'kitchen butler' for food preparation purposes, and a built in CD player/clock radio to enjoy while you are cooking.

The Anasazi includes your own complete directory of satellite channels. DSL is available for your immediate use as well.

The views from our Durango Anasazi Suite are stunning, you take in the La Plata Mountain range by day and a brilliant star show at night. You have your own private driveway and entry -- all on one level so there's no need to navigate stairs unnecessarily.

Anasazi Suite -- As a Long Term Rental, 1 Bedroom / 1 Full Bathroom Luxury Apartment

Everything above applies, except no more than 2 persons may stay more than 2 weeks. If this is your home for a year or longer, then of course you'll have to stock up the refrigerator and bring your own dishes, but you'll certainly have plenty of room! Please note that there are tons of storage space available from built in shelves to 2 large walk in closets plus one smaller closet.

You have your own private driveway with front door parking. From your picture window and patio you have marvelous foreground views of rolling meadows sprinkled with Ponderosa Pines backed up by the majestic La Plata Mountain range. Garaged parking may be available during the winter months.

We often get inquiries from persons just relocating to Durango. Often, it is helpful for those persons to rent the suite with partial furnishings. These are available if this is something that may become necessary for you.
