Academy Apartments is nestled in a charming area overlooking a scenic vista overlooking downtown Albuquerque, stretching to the Western horizon. From your home you'll enjoy dramatic views of the famous New Mexico sunsets, as well as night views of the romantic twinkling lights of the city. A sense of village life pervades our gated, enclosed community. Each apartment home is traditional adobe, many with exposed vigas and private courtyards. All are unique with their own individual personality and style. We have ample front door resident and guest parking, a community laundry room, extra storage space. Individual gardening projects are encouraged, especially since the sounds of the country such as roosters, church bell chimes, passing trains and the rings of ice cream carts can all be enjoyed while spending time outdoors. Our little village is situated to offer outstanding westward mountain and city views, plus, of course, gorgeous sunsets.The nearest cross streets are Edith NE and Indian School. We are centrally located, near to Albuquerque High School, major hospitals and freeway interchanges. Although we are perfectly located between UNM and Downtown, we are enough removed from major streets so as to enjoy restful quiet, privacy and a sense of country living in the heart of the city.
